Resum:	Ma communication a pour objet d'examiner le ou les statut(s) de R dans le système verbal français. Son titre, en mentionnant le mot psychosémiologie, indique clairement que celle-ci se situe dans le cadre théorique de la psychomécanique du langage de Gustave Guillaume. Elle associe par conséquent la description d'un fait très spécifique, avec prise en compte de sa dimension diachronique, et réflexion épistémologique. Elle se développera en trois points: (1) examen du rapport entre psychosystématique et psychosémiologie ; (2) propositions de Guillaume sur le statut du R dans le système verbal français ; (3) examen critique de ces propositions et esquisse d'une hypothèse.
Resum:	This paper aims to examine the status (s) of R in the French verbal system. Its title, mentioning the word psycho-semiology, clearly indicates that its approach adopts the theoretical framework of Gustave Guillaume's psychomechanics of language. It therefore combines the description of a very specific fact with the consideration of its diachronic dimension and its epistemological reflection. It will develop three aspects: (1) review of the relationship between psycho-systematics and psycho-semiology; (2) Guillaume's proposals on the status of R in the French verbal system; (3) Critical examination of these proposals and outlines of a hypothesis.
