Este trabajo analiza la conciencia lingüística de los hablantes de la región manchega en relación con la norma, la variación y la identidad cultural. Esta comarca ha sido históricamente la que ha presentado una mayor personalidad y la que más ha aportado a la recién creada comunidad de Castilla-La Mancha. Mediante una encuesta digital realizada a 505 informantes de variado perfil sociológico dentro del área identificada como manchega, se esclarecen cuestiones relativas a las actitudes y las creencias ante la norma, los prejuicios lingüísticos de los hablantes, la autoidentificación cultural y las diferencias intergeneracionales. El estudio considera tres posibles causas: el aumento de la movilidad geográfica, las nuevas tecnologías y la ausencia de una identidad fuerte en la región.
This paper analyses the linguistic awareness of the speakers of la Mancha region in relation to the norm, variation and cultural identity. This region has historically been the one with the strongest personality and the one that has contributed the most to the newly created community of Castilla-La Mancha. By means of a digital survey conducted among 505 informants of varied sociological profile within the area identified as Manchegan, issues related to attitudes and beliefs towards the norm, the linguistic prejudices of the speakers, cultural self-identification and intergenerational differences are clarified. The study considers three possible causes: increased geographical mobility, new technologies and the absence of a strong identity in the region.
