El propósito del presente trabajo es dar cuenta del modo en que algunos cuentos de El mundo sin las personas que lo afean y lo arruinan (2010) del escritor argentino Patricio Pron reconfiguran el modo en que una escritura puede establecer una relación de pertenencia con la tradición literaria nacional. La hipótesis propuesta sostiene que los relatos de Pron, si bien exhiben su adscripción a aspectos reconocidos de la cultura y la historia alemanas, mantienen una tensión de exterioridad no solo por su apelación al viaje y a la mirada extranjera, sino, fundamentalmente, en la medida en que su apropiación de los tópicos alemanes se produce mediante la reescritura de procedimientos y recursos de algunos relatos de Jorge Luis Borges. Al manifestar la aparente contradicción de que el llamado «libro alemán» de Pron elude y, al mismo tiempo, se inscribe en la tradición argentina, se busca explicitar el doblez en su operación: su esquive de las determinaciones temáticas y territoriales que impone un origen nacional y su afán de afiliación en los procedimientos borgeanos, y en una propuesta de procesamiento y resolución literarios de las tensiones entre lo extranjero y lo argentino.
The purpose of this paper is to account for the way some stories of El mundo sin las personas que lo afean y lo arruinan (2010) of the Argentine writer Patricio Pron reconfigure the relationship between a writing and its belonging to a literary national tradition. The proposed hypothesis states that Pron´s tales, while displaying their allegiance to recognize aspects of culture and German history, maintain a tension of externality not only for its appeal to foreign travel and insight, but, fundamentally, in the appropriation of the German topics produced by rewriting procedures and resources of some stories of Jorge Luis Borges. Expressing the apparent contradiction of the so-called «German book» Pron elude and, at the same time, is part of the Argentine tradition. This paper seeks to explain the fold in its operation: the dodge of the thematic and territorial determinations imposed by a national origin and his eagerness of affiliation in borgean procedures and a literary proposal of processing and resolution of tensions between the foreign and the Argentine.
