Resumen: En este artículo se revisarán algunas categorías desarrolladas por el investigador Adolfo de Nordenflycht Bresky para comprender los textos literarios locales producidos en Valparaíso como expresión de un imaginario urbano diferencial que sustente la configuración de un cronotopo urbano-costero en el canon literario nacional. Para ello, en primer lugar, se hará una sistematización y delimitación de las categorías de imaginación e imaginario, desde los modos en que han sido tematizadas en el campo intelectual chileno. En segundo lugar, se expondrá la operación analítica que elabora De Nordenflycht para interpretar la literatura de Valparaíso como una literatura local sustentada en un imaginario urbano diferencial. Finalmente, se situarán algunos de los autores trabajados por De Nordenflycht como una constelación documental que permita sustentar la existencia de un cronotopo urbano-portuario en la literatura de Valparaíso.
Abstract: This article will review some categories developed by the researcher Adolfo de Nordenflycht Bresky to understand the local literary texts produced in Valparaíso as an expression of a differential urban imaginary that supports the configuration of an urban-coastal chronotope in the national literary canon. To do so, firstly, a systematization and delimitation of the categories of imagination and imaginary will be made, based on the ways in which they have been thematized in the Chilean intellectual field. Secondly, the analytical operation that De Nordenflycht develops to interpret the literature of Valparaíso as a local literature supported by a differential urban imaginary will be presented. Finally, some of the authors worked on by De Nordenflycht will be placed as a documentary constellation that allows to support the existence of an urban-port chronotope in the literature of Valparaíso.
