El estudio comparativo de una muestra seleccionada de la Grant Crónica de Espanya III de Juan Fernández de Heredia y el texto correspondiente de su fuente, la Crónica de Alfonso Onceno, pone en evidencia las diferencias de carácter léxico-semántico que existían entre los romances aragonés y castellano a la altura de la segunda mitad del siglo XIV. Al mismo tiempo, la falta de sistematización en el empleo de tales vocablos específicos en la Grant Crónica de Espanya III, sustituidos muchas veces por otros términos habituales en su fuente, revela una permeabilidad a la influencia castellana a la que no son ajenas (según han demostrado diversas investigaciones) otras obras de la producción herediana.
The comparative study of a selected sample of the Grant Crónica de Espanya III by Juan Fernández de Heredia and the corresponding text of its source, the Crónica de Alfonso Onceno, highlights the differences of a lexical-semantic nature that existed between the Aragonese romance and Old Spanish in the second half of the fourteenth century.
