En este artículo se pretende explorar las biográficas de algunos huacos desenterrados por los huaqueros durante el ritual de la huaquería, practicado en los Andes septentrionales de Perú. Un proceso analítico de reconstrucción biográfica – ritual, museal y comercial − aplicado al estudio de estos objetos dará a conocer el papel que desempeñan dentro de las comunidades en las que circulan y los sistemas de pensamiento activados por las personas con las que interactúan activamente y recíprocamente.
The aim of this paper is to explore biographies of huacos unearthed by huaqueros through the huaquería ritual, practiced in the Northern Andes of Peru. An analytical process of ritual, comercial and museum biographical reconstruction will be applied in order to investigate three aspects of these objects. First, the role of huacos inside the communities in which they circulate; second, the thought system activated by these objects in their interactions with people from these communities.
