This article proposes a linguistic-textual analysis model inspired by the construal theory of Ronald W. Langacker, with its application in a study of four Chinese translations of the preface of the Book of Disquiet, posthumous work by Fernando Pessoa with authorship attributed at last to semi-heteronym Bernardo Soares. In the preface, the empirical author invents the encounter of a first-person narrator with the fictional author of the Book in a restaurant in Lisbon. Our analysis aims to understand in what way and at what level those translations retell the story told by the original preface in line with the linguistic-textual manifestations of the construal operations.
Este artigo propõe um modelo de análise linguístico-textual inspirado na teoria do construto de Ronald W. Langacker, com a aplicação do mesmo num estudo de quatro traduções em chinês do prefácio do Livro do Desassossego, obra póstuma de Fernando Pessoa com autoria atribuída por fim ao semi-heterónimo Bernardo Soares. No prefácio, o autor empírico inventa o encontro do narrador “eu” com o autor ficcional do Livro na sobreloja dum restaurante lisboeta. A nossa análise procura saber de que forma e em que nível é que as traduções recontam a história contada pelo prefácio original por meio das manifestações linguístico-textuais das operações do construto.
