this paper offers an approach to the verb posar.
Attention is paid to the meanings that it had in the fi fteenth century, which are organized around semantic fi elds. Likewise, the verifi cation of its frequency ultimately seeks to shed light on the research that deals with the semantic evolution of this verb in parallel to that of another two semantically very close markers, namely: metre and fi car. Furthermore, our paper identifi es the specifi c cognitive mechanisms which have facilitated Semantic Change (SC) and describes the most important grammaticalization processes –documented in the same aforesaid period. The study is supported on the exploitation of the Corpus Informatitzat Multilingüe de Textos Antics i Contemporanis (CIMTAC) [Multilingual Computerized Corpus of Old and Contemporary Texts], from which our examples were extracted.
en aquest article fem una aproximació al verb posar.
Analitzem els signifi cats que té al segle XV i els organitzem al voltant de nuclis semàntics. Així mateix, en comprovem la freqüència amb la intenció futura de fer llum en la investigació de l’evolució semàntica d’aquest verb en paral·lel amb les d’uns altres dos semàn-ticament molt propers, metre i fi car. A més a més, destriem quins mecanismes cognitius han possibilitat el Canvi Semàntic (CS) i exposem els principals processos de gramaticalització que documentem en aquest mateix període.
