Este trabajo se centra en el estudio de la comedia Porcia y Tancredo de Luis de Ulloa Pereira, que apenas ha recibido atención crítica. En el estudio se sostiene la hipótesis de la vinculación o adscripción de Porcia y Tancredo al género teatral de la llamada «comedia palatina», que se intenta demostrar analizando los distintos aspectos de la pieza que se corresponden con los rasgos que caracterizan a este subgénero teatral: el tiempo, el lugar, los personajes, el espacio de la acción (el Palacio), el enredo y los temas principales (amor, honor y poder).
This work focuses on the study of the comedy Porcia y Tancredo by Luis de Ulloa Pereira, which has received little critical attention. The study supports the hypothesis of the link or assignment of Porcia y Tancredo to the theatrical genre of the so-called «palatine comedy», which is attempted to be demonstrated by an-alyzing the different aspects of the piece which correspond to the features that characterize this theatrical subgenre: time, place, characters, the space of the ac-tion (the Palace), the entanglement and the main themes (love, honor and power)
