  • The article offers an edition of seven letters from the 1340s written by Venetian merchants trading in the eastern Mediterranean as part of a liga overseen by Fresco Quirini, a well-known figure in the study of Venetian economic history. The edition of each document is followed by a linguistic and content commentary.
