En el cuento folclórico del mundo andino, el zorro es un personaje que se caracteriza por su habilidad, astucia y engaño. No obstante, esta condición se suele invertir y trasladarse a otros personajes que, usualmente, son víctimas del zorro, por lo que este aparece como un «burlador burlado» en varias narraciones de la tradición oral andina. El presente artículo estudia los motivos referidos a la burla de que es objeto dicho personaje en un corpus de narraciones del universo andino, en cuya trama las aventuras del zorro tienen como rival a otros personajes fabulescos que lo engañan en cada episodio. Organizados mediante una serie de divertidas escenas, donde el humor se conjuga con la lección que recibe el zorro, los cuentos demuestran la rica vitalidad del arte narrativo en el mundo andino. A partir de un índice de motivos, el trabajo concluye que los diferentes matices, variaciones y elementos narrativos que se registran en las versiones estudiadas evidencian la especial dinámica del cuento folclórico y del cuento literario en la literatura andina.
In the folk tales of the Andean world, the fox is a character characterized by its ability, cunning and deceit. However, this condition is usually inverted and transferred to other characters who are usually victims of the fox, which is why the fox appears as a «mocker mocked» in several narratives of the Andean oral tradition. This article studies the motifs related to the mockery of this character in a corpus of narratives of the Andean universe, in whose plot the adventures of the fox are rivaled by other fabulous characters who deceive him in each episode. Organized through a series of amusing scenes, where humor is combined with the lesson the fox receives, the stories demonstrate the rich vitality of the narrative art in the Andean world. Based on an index of motifs, the work concludes that the different nuances, variations and narrative elements that are recorded in the versions studied show the special dynamics of the folk tale and the literary tale in Andean literature.
