Este artículo es una aproximación al estudio de la literatura oral en árabe argelino principalmente y sus conexiones con otros países del Magreb y las variedades amaziges. Hemos llevado a cabo un recorrido historiográfico por recopilaciones de distintos géneros de la literatura oral y de manuales para el aprendizaje del árabe argelino que incluyen etnotextos. Está dividido en dos apartados bien diferenciados: el siglo XIX y el XX, tomando como punto de partida 1830, fecha de la ocupación francesa. El objetivo principal que se ha querido alcanzar es el de ofrece al investigador una aproximación al estudio de la literatura oral en esta lengua.
This article is an approach to the study of oral literature mainly in Algerian Arabic and its connections with other Maghreb countries and Berber varieties. We have carried out a historiographical survey of compilations of different genres of oral literature and of manuals for learning Algerian Arabic that include ethnotexts. It is divided into two distinct sections: the 19th and 20th centuries, starting in 1830, the date of the French occupation. The main objective is to offer the researcher an approach to the study of oral literature in this language.
