La Revista Mexicana de Literatura supuso entre 1955 y 1965 un espacio de apertura y de transformación de la labor crítica en México. Además, fue el órgano en torno al cual se configuró el grupo del Medio siglo mexicano, del que formaron parte fundamental los escritores de la segunda generación del exilio español de 1939. El presente trabajo propone un acercamiento descriptivo de la revista y su significación en el campo cultural mexicano, poniendo el foco en el papel que jugaron en ella los escritores hispanomexicanos. Se analiza así, su participación y su contribución crítica, además de estudiarlos temase intereses que atendieron en sus páginas, con especial atención al exilio español y sus contactos con la España del interior.
Between 1955 and 1965, the Mexican Literature Magazine was a space for opening and transforming critical work in Mexico. Furthermore, it was the organ around which the group of the Mexican Half Century was formed, of which the writers of the second generation of the Spanish exile of 1939 formed a fundamental part. The present work proposes a descriptive approach to the magazine and its significance in the Mexican cultural field, focusing on the role that Hispanic-Mexican writers played in it. Thus, their participation and critical contribution are analyzed, in addition to studying the themes and interests that they addressed in their pages, with attention to the Spanish exile or their contacts with inland Spain.
