The recent discovery of an unknown old chapbook of El monstruo de los jardines gives rise to its study, on the one hand, from the material bibliography and, on the other, from textual criticism. After examining its possible relationship with Valencian printing in the late seventeenth century, the textual transmission of the comedy is studied, and then a proposal is made for the affiliation of the new chap book.
La reciente localización de una desconocida suelta antigua de El monstruo de los jardines da pie a su estudio, por un lado, desde la bibliografía material y, por otro, desde la crítica textual. Tras examinar su posible relación con la imprenta valenciana de finales del siglo XVII, se pasa a estudiar la transmisión textual de la comedia para, después, hacer una propuesta de filiación del nuevo impreso suelto.
