El objetivo de este estudio es examinar a través de diversos títulos de cómic y novela gráfica publicados en España durante el siglo XXI la proyección y representación que la minoría social de los moriscos ha tenido en cómics, en viñetas. Partiendo de las bases mudéjares del periodo bajomedieval, observamos que estas comunidades no han tenido una presencia en el cómic más allá de los eventos dramáticos de su expulsión a principios del siglo XVII, atrayendo todo tipo de posturas y puntos de vista sobre la injusticia cometida que provocó uno de los mayores movimientos migratorios de la Edad Moderna del Mediterráneo occidental.
The aim of this study is to examine, through various comic and graph-ic novel titles published in Spain during the 21stcentury, the projection and rep-resentation that the Moriscos social minority has had in comics, in cartoons. Start-ing from the Mudejars bases of the late medieval period, we observe that these communities have not had a presence in comics beyond the dramatic events of their expulsion at the beginning of the 17th century, attracting all kinds of positions and points of view on the injustice committed that caused one of the largest migra-tory movements of the Modern Age in the Western Mediterranean
