El artículo se centra en diversos aspectos de la recepción, en la cultura armenia, de la monumental obra de Miguel de Cervantes, el Quijote. Se destaca que la difusión —desde el siglo XIX hasta el XXI— se debe no solo a traducciones y adaptaciones, incluidas representaciones teatrales, sino también al profundo interés académico que ha suscitado. Este interés ha convertido al Quijote en un clásico que invita a reflexionar sobre el mundo y la complejidad de la condición humana. Las adaptaciones y los estudios críticos han enriquecido la percepción de la obra mediante diálogos más filosóficos y profundos. Así, la obra de Cervantes se ha convertido en un puente cultural que ha inspirado a los artistas y académicos armenios en sus propios dilemas existenciales.
The article focuses on several aspects of the reception, within Arme-nian culture, of the monumental work of Miguel de Cervantes, Don Quixote. It em-phasizes that the diffusion —from the 19th century up to the 21st— is due not only to translations and adaptations, including theatrical representations, but also to the deep academic interest it has provoked. This interest has established Quixote as a classic that invites one to reflect on the world and the complexity of the human condition. Adaptations and critical studies have enriched the perception of the work by means of more philosophical and profound dialogues. Thus, Cervantes’ work has become a cultural bridge inspiring Armenian artists and academics to explore their existential dilemmas
