El propósito de este artículo es divulgar el epistolario que la madre Beatriz de Jesús (Ovalle) dirigió a su compañera, la madre Beatriz de la Concepción (Zúñiga), a comienzos del siglo XVII. Este epistolario, conservado en el Carmelo de Salamanca, es un ejemplo de la correspondencia que las religiosas de la orden mantenían en esa época. El estudio bibliográfico del epistolario va precedido de una biobibliografía de la autora.
The aim of this article is to divulgate the epistolary that Mother Beatriz de Jesús (Ovalle) wrote to her colleague, Mother Beatriz de la Concepción (Zúñiga), at the beginning of the 17th century. The archive of the convent of the Discalced Carmelites of San José de Salamanca preserves these letters, which are an example of the epistolary that the Carmelites wrote in that time. A bibliographic study of the epistolary is preceded by a biobibliography of the author.
