Este artículo pretende no solo contextualizar y valorar la edición de 2024 del texto de S. Collet Sedola La connaissance de l'espagnol en France et les premières grammaires hispano-françaises (1550-1700) (1973-1974), sino que aspira a fomentar la toma de conciencia sobre la necesidad de proporcionar accesibilidad a investigaciones similares de importancia capital para la disciplina historiográfica. Se parte del convencimiento de que dicha recuperación ayudará a conocer mejor el sendero por todos transitado, sin olvidar —y reconocer, por tanto— la labor esencial de quienes tuvieron el arrojo de ir abriendo el camino.
This article aims not only to contextualise and evaluate the 2024 edition of S. Collet Sedola's La connaissance de l'e spagnol en France et les premières grammaires hispano-françaises (1550-1700)(1973-1974), but also to raise awareness of the need to provide access to similar research of capital importance for the historiographical discipline. It is based on the conviction that such a recovery will help to better understand the path that has been trodden by all, without forgetting —and therefore acknowledging— the essential work of those who had the courage to pave the way.
