El artículo estudia la manera en que, en los ensayos recogidos en Mujer que sabe latín, Rosario Castellanos analiza la relación entre escritura y escritoras, enfocándose en más de un caso en cómo la primera p1articipa de un auténtico proyecto existencial de las segundas. Se recordará la influencia de la propuesta feminista de Simone de Beauvoir sobre la escritora mexicana, pero se enfocará el análisis en los más recientes estudios sobre autoría, iluminando la manera en que la obra puede resignificar a la(s) autora(s).
This article examines how, in the essays collected in Mujer que sabe latín, Rosario Castellanos analyzes the relationship between writing and women writers, focusing in several cases on how the former becomes part of the latter’s genuine existential project. While recalling the influence of Simone de Beauvoir’s feminist thought on the Mexican author, the analysis centers on more recent studies of authorship, highlighting the ways in which the work itself can re-signify its author(s).
