El presente artículo propone un análisis del poemario El rescate del mundo (1952), de Rosario Castellanos. En el centenario de su nacimiento, y desde una mirada interseccional, el presente estudio pretende describir críticamente la representación de los/as sujetos/as indígenas y del cruce de opresiones de género y raza en este poemario, el cual puede considerarse laprimera obra indigenista de la autora. Este análisis nos permite afirmar que, en este primer estadio de exploración indigenista, la autora representa la realidad indígena desde mecanismos como la exotización e idealización, mas también denuncia poéticamente la explotación colonial, con una mirada especial sobre las mujeres indígenas.This paper proposes an analysis of the poetry collection El rescate del mundo (1952) written by Rosario Castellanos. On the centenary of her birth, and from an intersectional perspective, this study pretends to critically describe the representation of indigenous subjects and the intersection of gender and race oppressions in this collection of poems, which can be considered her first indigenist work. The purpose of the above is to affirm that, in this first stage ofindigenist exploration, the author represents indigenous reality through mechanisms such asexotization and idealization, but also poetically denounces colonial exploitation, with a specialfocus on indigenous women.
