La traducción jurídica, por el papel tan importante que desempeña el Derecho como elemento configurador de la sociedad, no puede eximirse de un proceso de traducción para la igualdad en la que se otorgue visibilidad a la mujer y se suprima cualquier rasgo sexista por medio del lenguaje. Por esta razón nos proponemos analizar la Ley Orgánica 10/2022 de garantía integral de la libertad sexual, cuyo texto, además de legislar sobre temas centrales para la mujer, incorpora las recomendaciones para un uso inclusivo de la lengua; y, posteriormente, examinar cuáles son los procedimientos de traducción al italiano más adecuados para garantizar las intenciones comunicativas del texto origen.
Legal translation, given the important role played by law as a shaping element of society, cannot be exempted from a process of translation for equality in which women are given visibility and any sexist traits are eliminated through language. For this reason, we propose to analyse Organic Law 10/2022 on the comprehensive guarantee of sexual freedom, whose text, in addition to legislating on central issues for women, incorporates recommendations for an inclusive use of language; and, subsequently, to examine which are the most appropriate translation procedures into Italian to guarantee the communicative intentions of the source text.
