Gonzalo Rojas es un poeta de estirpe órfica, de bajada al fondo de lo abisal, donde el tanteo por lo oscuro aparece como signo de una nueva luz. Ese territorio de lo indistinto, donde lo erótico y lo poético se confunden, es el de toda escritura, en cuya indeterminación desaparece toda certidumbre y el lenguaje se abre a lo posible. Y si la palabra poética se caracteriza por la inmediatez de su fulgurante aparición, el verbo de Gonzalo Rojas guarda una analogía con el instante del relámpago, cuya irrupción de lo inesperado puede venir en cualquier momento.
Gonzalo Rojas is a poet Orphic lieage, descending to the bottom of the abyssal, where the groping for the dark appears as a sing of a new light. That territory of the indistinct, where the erotic and the poetic merge, is that of all writing, in whose indeterminacy all certteinty disappears and language opens up to the posible. And if the poetic word is characterized by the immediacy of its dazzling appearance, the verb of Gonzlo Rojas bears an analogy with the instant of lightning, whose irruption pf the unexpected can come at any moment.
