Within the literary criticism developed by Carmen Martín Gaite in Diario 16, her articles on some of the major poetry collections of the Generation of 1950s stand out. This study analyses her considerations in this regard, with special attention to her intimate and nuanced perspective on the thematic and expressive contributions of her own group.
