Este artículo pretende explicar los elementos semánticos y gramaticales más notorios de la noción de causatividad en las gramáticas alemana y española. También busca comparar las similitudes y diferencias de la expresión de la causatividad en ambos idiomas, una problemática apenas estudiada en la gramática contrastiva, y brindar las herramientas necesarias para la traducción y el trasvase del matiz de causatividad que proporciona el verbo lassen, así como recopilar los diversos usos que tiene este verbo. De esta manera, se lleva a cabo un estudio de las gramáticas española y alemana, de la gramática comparada y de las estrategias de traducción existentes. Este análisis se aplica posteriormente en una clase de primer curso del grado de Traducción e Interpretación en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid mediante la enseñanza de las diversas técnicas y herramientas para la traducción del verbo lassen
This article focuses on explaining the most remarkable semantic and grammatical elements of the causative notion in both Spanish and German grammars. It also seeks to compare the similarities and differences in the ways of expressing causativity in both languages, a subject that has hardly been studied in contrastive grammar, and to provide the essential tools to translate and transfer the causative nuance of the verb lassen, as well as to compile the different uses of this verb.In this regard, a study of Spanish and German grammars, the comparative grammar and the existing translation strategies is carried out. This analysis is then applied through the teaching of the various techniques and tools that are available for the translation of the verb lassen. This method is put into practice in a first-year subject of the Translation and Interpreting degree in the Complutense University of Madrid
