Este artículo analiza el cancionero popular infantil compartido entre España y el norte de África. A través del estudio de nanas, juegos mímicos, suertes y canciones escenificadas obtenidas en trabajo de campo con escolares inmigrantes, se evidencian las estructuras comunes de la literatura oral infantil en ambas orillas del Estrecho, además de poner de relieve el importante componente social y cultural de estas manifestaciones folclóricas.
This article analyses popular children's songs that are shared between Spain and North Africa. Through the study of lullabies, early mime games and other ditties (drawing lots, dramatised…) obtained in fieldwork with immigrant schoolchildren, it shows the common structures of children's oral literature on both sides of the Strait of Gibraltar, as well as highlighting the important social and cultural component of these folkloric manifestations.
