Desde que era un niño, Friedrich Nietzsche escribió poemas que, en parte, emplearía para estructurar su obra filosófica; otra parte de su producción poética, sin embargo, obedece a una finalidad más personal, artística, con la que intentó conjurar una soledad cada vez mayor y más dolorosa. En el presente artículo van a desglosarse las formas en las que la soledad, inherente a la conformación del individuo finisecular y consustancial a la autopercepción de la figura del poeta, se hace presente en los escritos de Nietzsche, en particular en los poemas de juventud, aún inéditos en español y de los que se ofrece una pequeña muestra, también en traducción al castellano. Ya solo el somero análisis de estos primeros poemas permite vislumbrar el germen de la filosofía del Nietzsche maduro; dicho análisis se centrará en las imágenes, motivos y sonidos mediante los que el joven transmitía su apreciación de soledad.
Since his childhood years, Friedrich Nietzsche wrote poems which, to a large extent, he would later use to structure his philosophical work. Another part of his poetic production, however, served a more personal, artistic purpose, with which he tried to conjure up an ever-increasing and more painful loneliness. This article will examine how solitude – inherent to the shaping of the fin-de-siècle individual and consubstantial to the self-perception of the f igure of the poet – is present in Nietzsche’s writings, particularly in the poems of his youth, which are still unpublished in Spanish and of which we offer a small sample, translated into Spanish. A mere cursory analysis of these early poems provides a glimpse of the grounds of the philosophy of the mature Nietzsche. This analysis will focus on the images, motifs, and sounds through which the young man conveyed his appreciation of loneliness
