El artículo propone un acercamiento a la figura y la obra de Lucía Sánchez Saornil, escritora y activista imprescindible de nuestra historia político-social y literaria del siglo XX poco conocida aún. Silenciada durante la dictadura, aislada y retirada de la vida pública en un duro exilio interior, ha contribuido a ello su carácter reservado, su apartamiento voluntario de la vida literaria al inicio del periodo republicano y el hecho de que su obra literaria quedara dispersa en publicaciones periódicas de muy difícil acceso hasta los años 70. Falta todavía una edición accesible de toda su obra conocida hasta el momento y estudiar aspectos de su trayectoria biográfica no suficientemente conocidos. Se apuntan para ello algunas posibles líneas de trabajo.
This article examines the figure and literary work of Lucía Sánchez Saornil, an essential writer and activist in our 20th-century political, social, and literary history, who is still little known. Silenced during the dictatorship, isolated and withdrawn from public life in a harsh internal exile, her reserved nature, her voluntary withdrawal from literary life at the beginning of the Republican period, and the fact that her literary work remained scattered in periodicals that were very difficult to find until the 1970s , contributed to this. An accessible edition of her entire work known until now is still lacking, as is a study of aspects of her biography that are not sufficiently known. For this purpose , some possible lines of work are suggested.
