Este artículo abordará, en primer lugar, la dimensión historiográfica del Plomo de Gádor, mostrando cómo se han ajustado las percepciones sobre la pieza hasta la actualidad. Pese a los avances en su estudio, aún persisten numerosas dudas, discrepancias entre los investigadores y elementos sin resolver. Entre los aspectos en debate se encuentran la correcta transcripción de los signos, la posible existencia de errores por parte del escriba, la identificación del signo perdido al inicio del texto, la estructura del mensaje, las palabras de dudosa adscripción ibérica, los posibles antropónimos, la localización exacta del hallazgo y el contenido del texto.
This article will first address the historiographical dimension of the Gádor Lead, showing how perceptions of the piece have evolved up to the present day. Despite advances in its study, numerous doubts, discrepancies among researchers, and unresolved elements still persist. The debated aspects include the correct transcription of the signs, the possible existence of scribal errors, the identification of the missing sign at the beginning of the text, the structure of the message, words of uncertain Iberian attribution, possible anthroponyms, the exact location of the discovery, and the content of the text.
