En este artículo se analizan letras producidas en el rap y el trap español de las últimas décadas con el objetivo de ilustrar la presencia de discursos autobiográficos en estos géneros. Tomando en consideración algunos tópicos vinculados con la cuestión de la autenticidad en el rap y el trap, como los que se relacionan con la etiqueta keep it real, en este trabajo se intenta demostrar la cercanía que existe entre la literatura autobiográfica y estas manifestaciones, así como la pertinencia del uso de herramientas propias de la teoría sobre escritura autobiográfica para su análisis. A su vez, se muestra el cambio que la asunción de este discurso autobiográfico conlleva en la propia evolución del rap español y el surgimiento del trap.
This article analyses the lyrics produced in Spanish rap and trap music in recent decades, with the aim of illustrating the presence of autobiographical discourse in these genres. Taking into consideration themes linked to the question of authenticity in rap and trap – such as those related to the label keep it real – this paper seeks to demonstrate the close relationship between autobiographical literature and these musical expressions, as well as the relevance of applying tools from the theory of autobiographical writing to their analysis. At the same time, it highlights the changes brought about by the adoption of this autobiographical discourse in the evolution of Spanish rap and the emergence of trap.
