This brief and unorthodox text proposes a reading of Femio, Sergio Mansilla’s most recent book to date, where he plays at doubting, and exchanging the identities of the Greek bard and the Chilote poet, thus illuminating the intertextual and intercultural power of Mansilla’s writing, in which life and literature often cross paths in unpredictable ways.
