El artículo plantea un acercamiento a un nuevo género literario surgido en la posmodernidad: el álbum ilustrado. Se exponen las maneras de acercamiento a este género a través del estudio de un caso individual, con especial atención a la recepción del texto literario y a la interpretación de signos icónicos. Estas dos posibilidades de lectura se ejemplifican a través del análisis de la recepción del álbum elegido en dos sujetos casi idénticos con una lectura diferenciada de textos e imágenes.
The article presents an approach to a new literary genre that emerged in postmodernism: the picture book. The ways of approaching this genre are exposed through the study of an individual case, with special attention to the reception of the literary text and the interpretation of iconic signs. These two readindg possibilities are exemplified through the análisis of the reception of the chosen picture book in two almost identical subjects with a differentiated reading of texts and images.
