La modernidad y la postmodernidad son dos épocas históricas que hoy en día mantienen encendidas las discusiones académicas, debido a su importancia para comprender la organización sociocultural del mundo occidental. La primera se diseminó como paradigma desde finales del siglo XVIII hasta principios del XX; la segunda, desde mediados del siglo XX hasta la actualidad. Así entonces, trataremos de acercarnos a este tema, por cuanto su comprensión es vital en las ciencias sociales y humanísticas. En el presente ensayo haremos algunas aproximaciones.
Modernity and postmodernity are two historical eras that keep academic discussions alive today, due to their importance in understanding the sociocultural organization of the Western world. The former was disseminated as a paradigm th th from the end of the 18 century to the beginning of the 20 , the latter from the midth 20 century to the present. Therefore, we will try to approach this topic, since its understanding is vital in the social and humanistic sciences. In this essay, we will make some approximations.
La modernité et la postmodernité sont deux époques historiques qui alimentent aujourd'hui les débats académiques, en raison de leur importance pour la compréhension de l'organisation socioculturelle du monde occidental. Le premier s'est diffusé comme paradigme de la fin du XVIIIe siècle au début du XXe; la seconde, du milieu du XXe siècle à nos jours. Nous tenterons donc d'aborder ce sujet, dont la compréhension est vitale dans les sciences sociales et humaines. Dans cet essai, nous ferons quelques approximations.
