Jean Dangler
Inspired by the critical cluster and volume, Queer Iberia, Jean Dangler discusses how the scholarship of Louise Vasvàri, Daniel Eisenberg, and Leora Lev illustrates the implied political, cultural, and linguistic significance of Al-Andalus for Spanish Studies and more broadly for the history of sexuality. Dangler concludes that Al-Andalus and Christian Iberia were often diverse and accommodating places, even as late as the fifteenth century.
