A partir de la publicació d’aquest llibre, es presenta l’oportunitat de repensar el valor literari i religiós d’aquest llibre bíblic. Es consideren l’origen d’aquest poemari i la traducció feta pel poeta N. Comadira com a fruit de la seva visió. També es considera la visió teològica o religiosa que en treu el professor J. Farrer. En tercer lloc, alguns aspectes de la traducció en la tradició de les catalanes anteriors, com la de J. Verdaguer, i com cada versió propicia una significació nova o enriquidora dels versos bíblics, de l’erotisme a l’elevació mística. Finalment, tot resta emmarcat per l’experiència vital que el Càntic manifesta i per la que sucita en els lectors, com ho proven mirades allunyades en els segles, les de Bernat de Claravall i M. Heidegger
The publication of this book provides the opportunity to rethink the literary and religious value of this biblical book. The origin of this book of poems and the translation by the poet N. Comadira, the fruit of his vision, are explored. The theological or religious view taken by the professor J. Farrer is also examined. Certain aspects of the translation in the tradition of the previous Catalan translations, such as the translation by J. Verdaguer, and how each version offers a new or enriched meaning of the biblical verses and of eroticism elevated to a mystical level are also considered. Lastly, the experience of life manifested in the Càntic and the experience it brings readers, as shown by views down the centuries, such as those of Bernat de Claravall and M. Heidegger, form the framework of the book
