The text was published in Teatro de ensueño (1905), which combines dramatic art and modernism, while presents an idealized itinerant circus world. This essay studies Saltimbanquis through Cultural History to explore the importance of this theatrical piece in the biography of its authors (who would later perform it as the zarzuela Las golondrinas), as well as its contribution to the literary, and artistic transition context, from the nineteenth to the twentieth century, which was especially critical for Spain
