The bibliography on theatrical censorship under the Francoist dictatorship has grown considerably since its end, and especially in the first 25 years of the 21st Century. Therefore, it was deemed necessary to compile the main contributions on this subject into a select bibliography, thus complementing the references included in each one of the articles in this monograph. This bibliography includes the principal contributions on this topic, both scholar works and those particularly relevant publications that have appeared in leading theater journals since the 1970s.
