RESUMEN Este artículo analiza los mecanismos de narración del fenómeno migratorio en el cuento "Quimbamba" (Afroqueeridades, 2023), de la escritora puertorriqueña Yolanda Arroyo Pizarro. La condición sociohistórica de Puerto Rico otorga a su literatura unas características particulares. Además, su literatura nacional supera las fronteras del territorio insular y se integra con la literatura de la diáspora. En el texto analizado, la autora narra la migración desde una perspectiva que integra el fenómeno del desplazamiento forzoso con la perspectiva de género, la violencia, la narración de la disidencia sexogenérica y las reivindicaciones de las autoras racializadas.
ABSTRACT This article analyses the narrative mechanisms of the migratory phenomenon in the story 'Quimbamba' (Afroqueeridades, 2023), by the Puerto Rican writer Yolanda Arroyo Pizarro. Puerto Rico's socio-historical status gives its literature particular characteristics. Moreover, its national literature transcends the borders of the island territory and integrates with the literature of the diaspora. In the text analysed, the author narrates migration from a perspective that integrates the phenomenon of forced displacement with the perspective of gender, violence, the narration of sex-gender dissidence and the claims of racialised authors.
