The article presents the results of a research study that examined, evaluated, and made visible the presence of theater in school education in Chile through the exploration, analysis, and activation of a set of school magazines and periodical publications from public high schools, produced between the years 1930 and 1950. This work was de-veloped based on a review of 19 magazine titles, from which a total of 108 issues were studied. From this study, 18 relevant findings were iden-tified regarding the school theater landscape of the time, which have allowed for the construction of a historical and testimonial narrative about the theatrical aspects of school life, within a context marked by the rise of state education and the emergence of university theaters in our country. The project included, on one hand, the implementation of four train-ing workshops with specialists in theater, education, and heritage, aimed at educational communities of public high schools in Chile; three of these were virtual and open to the community, and one was in-per-son. On the other hand, a digital platform for managing these archives was designed and launched, with free access. Finally, an activity was carried out to activate and mediate the school theatrical heritage with students from the Archive and Heritage Workshops of Liceo A1 Javiera Carrera in Santiago, the first public girls' high school in Chile.
