    Aquest article analitza la variació lingüística en els enunciats prescriptius dels capítols sobre sintaxi de la Gramàtica de la llengua catalana, publicada per l’Institut d’Estudis Catalans el 2016, i pretén ser una aproximació a la manera com la gramàtica incorpora i prescriu la variació lingüística. L’article es divideix, d’una banda, en l’anàlisi qualitativa dels enunciats normatius i, de l’altra, en la relació quantitativa dels tipus de variació de la gramàtica. A més a més, també s’estudien els recursos prescriptius amb què es vehiculen els enunciats.

    This paper analyses the linguistic variation in the prescriptive statements of the syntax chapters of the Gramàtica de la llengua catalana, published by the Institut d’Estudis Catalans in 2016. It aims to be an examination of how this grammar introduces and prescribes linguistic variation, and it is organised first by focusing on the qualitative data and secondly by considering quantitative data on the type of variation codified in the grammar. Furthermore, the prescriptive resources used in these statements are also studied.
