Lan honen asmoa da euskal testu klasikoek hezkuntzan eta, batez ere, hizkuntzaren di-daktikan izan beharko luketen lekua aldarrikatzea eta ikasleen hizkuntza maila hobetzeko tresnatzat aur-keztea. Edizioarekin batera, hiztegia osatu da Iturriagaren testuetan agertzen diren hitz dialektalekin eta era-bilera murriztua dutenekin. Era berean, esamolde, lokuzio eta errefrauak ere bildu ditut, ikasleen euskara maila hobetzeko eta adierazkortasuna handitzeko iturri izan daitezen.
This work makes the case for the space classic texts should have in education and lan-guage teaching. Therefore, we present a critical edition of Fábulas y otras composiciones en verso vascon-gado dialecto guipuzcoano con un diccionario vasco-castellano de las voces que son diferentes en los diversos dialectos (1842) written by Agustin Iturriaga. We have updated the orthography and added some ex-planatory notes to make it available for children in primary and secondary school. We have also elaborated a short dictionary with dialectal words and listed some locutions and proverbs, in order to improve learners’ level and fluency in Basque.
