Este artículo analiza las narraciones de intercambio entre el paisaje sensible y los seres humanos en el Manuscrito de Huarochirí. Con este fin, este artículo desarrolla la noción de “poética del intercambio”, refiriéndose tanto a la forma en que se da significado a los intercambios a través de estructuras paralelas tanto en la narrativa como en la práctica ritual. Este enfoque libera las narraciones del manuscrito de la herencia colonial al volver a centrar el paisaje sensible como una figura social y económica, en lugar de solo religiosa, expandiendo la dimensión del intercambio con lo no humano.
Abstract This article analyzes narrations of exchanges between the sentient landscape and humans in the Huarochirí Manuscript. To this end, this article develops the notion of a “poetics of exchange”—referring to the way that exchanges are given meaning through parallel structures both in narrative and practice. This approach liberates the manuscript’s narrations from colonial inheritance by recentering the sentient landscape as a social and economic figure, rather than only religious, and by expanding the scope of exchange to the nonhuman.
