The article analyses the most relevant legal-labour concepts in the stories of Sub terra. Thus, the aim of the article is to identify the main legal figures of labour that appear in this work, inclu-ding those that refer to the worker, the employer, the powers of management and discipline, the rules of health and safety and even those of collective law. This study allows us to conclu-de that, at a time when there was a complete absence of social norms, the Sub terra stories were able to anticipate the object of regulation of future social legislation. In addition, from these ta-les we can delineate the main institutions of an order that would regulate —decades later— the underlying conflict between a provider of subordinate services and the recipient of the same, within a classical scheme of industrialisation.
