El artículo de revisión examina estudios de un área específica mediante diferentes metodologías. Así, el objetivo del presente artículo es describir la organización retórica de este género. Se analizaron 105 textos provenientes de un grupo de revistas indexadas. Se configuró un modelo retórico compuesto por 6 macromovidas, 12 movidas y 14 pasos.
Los hallazgos evidencian la alta flexibilidad del género, motivada por el tipo de revisión, autor y normas. Se concluye que se trata de un género con patrones retóricos dinámicos, pero que a su vez confieren complejidad a la producción textual.

The review article examines research studies in a specific area using different methodologies. Thus, the objective of this article is to describe the rhetorical organization of this genre. A total of 105 texts from a group of indexed journals were analysed. A rhetorical model was created comprising 6 macro-moves, 12 moves, and 14 steps. The findings demonstrate a high degree of flexibility within the genre, caused by the type of review, the author, and the norms. It is concluded that this is a genre with dynamic rhetorical patterns; which, however, makes the textual production more complex.
