The aim of this paper is to measure the use of Basque in Aramaio primary care unit, in both oral and written relationships, as well in nurse and medical consultations. With this objective, a descriptive and retrospective study (to prevent the Hawthorne effect) has been carried out, by measuring the clinical activity in a whole month. According to the data obtained, the use of Basque is high, higher than the daily use on the street. The data suggest that, although the sociolinguistical landscape is a key determinant, the level of knowledge and the awareness of the staff could be key issues too.
Artikulu honek Aramaioko osasun-zentroko mediku eta erizainek pazienteekin egiten duten euskararen erabilerari buruzko ikerketaren emaitzak aurkezten ditu; zehazki, ahozko zein idatzizko harremanetako erabilera. Horretarako, ikerketa deskriptibo eta atzera begirakoa egin da hilabete osoko jarduera neurtuz, Hawthorne efektua saihesteko asmoz. Jasotako datuen arabera, euskararen erabilera altua dela esan daiteke, izan ere kaleko erabilera baino altuagoa baita. Hizkuntzaren erabileran egoera soziolinguistikoa baldintzatzaile garrantzitsua izan arren, langileen ezagutza-maila eta jarrera ere gakoak izan daitezkeela ondorioztatzen da.
