Death and orphanhood. The need to build a story from memory in four Hispanic-American stories.. Recounting the material objects that populate the scenes of "The cushion of feathers" de Quiroga, "The trail of your blood in the snow" of García Márquez, "The hand along the wall" de Meneses and "No lighting lamps "Felisberto Hernández, we propose a comparative relationship that links these objects to the events that befall the characters in the stories. It tries to demonstrate how, from the furniture, the narrator reconstructs the story stated.
