Pedro Manuel Ximénez de Urrea, uno de los más importantes poetas aragoneses del primitivo teatro español, escribió seis églogas dramáticas: la versificación del primer acto de La Celestina, una égloga religiosa y cuatro églogas profanas. Este artículo trata de los diferentes tipos de villanos que aparecen en el teatro de Ximénez de Urrea: el galán, el confidente, el mediador, el rival y la dama = Pedro Manuel Ximénez de Urrea, one of the most important poets from Aragon in the early stage of spanish theater, wrote six dramatic eclogues: the versification of the first acto from La Celestina, a religious eclogue and four profane ones. This article deals with different types of villeins, that appear in the theater of Ximénez de Urrea: the lover, the confident, the go-between, the rival and the lady.
