El artículo plantea la lectura crítica, desde la perspectiva de género y desde la teoría feminista, de una específica selección de la producción escritural de cuatro intelectuales latinoamericanas. Se propone llevar a cabo un ejercicio de indagación e interpretación que intenta constituirse en bisagra para vincular a las cuatro autoras a partir de la especificidad discursiva y develar el modo en que ellas articulan su producción desde el par público/ privado. En este sentido, el artículo ensaya poner en perspectiva dialógica a dos autoras chilenas y a dos mexicanas, quienes hacen su aporte a la producción cultural latinoamericana en dos momentos de la modernidad latinoamericana. De Amanda Labarca (chilena) y Antonieta Rivas Mercado (mexicana) se resignifica la escritura del diario íntimo y las estrategias discursivas en conexión con el sujeto que implicaba dicha escritura en el contexto de la segunda modernidad latinoamericana. De Rosario Castellanos (mexicana) y de Julieta Kirkwood (chilena) se selecciona la escritura de editoriales que circula en suplementos y revistas a mediados del Siglo Veinte entre las décadas del sesenta¿setenta y ochenta respectivamente. En las cuatro escrituras es posible detectar las diversas estrategias, relacionadas con los contextos culturales y políticos, a las cuales las mujeres recurren para desestabilizar la dicotomía público/privado deconstruyendo, de este modo, uno de los pilares del sistema sexo¿género en la cultura latinoamericana.
The article raises the critical reading, from the perspective of gender and feminist theory, of a specific selection of the literary production of four Latin American intellectuals. An exercise of inquiry and interpretation is proposed which attempts to become a link to tie the four authors in their discursive specificity and to reveal the way in which they articulate their production along public/private line. In this sense, the article tries to set in a dialogic perspective two Chilean and two Mexican authors who make their contribution to the cultural production in Latin America, in two different moments. An analysis is made of Amanda Labarca (Chilean) and Antonieta Rivas Mercado (Mexican) are analyzed through the writing of a personal diary and the discursive strategies in connection with the subject which this writing implies in the context of the second Latin American modernity. From Rosario Castellanos (Mexican) and Julieta Kirkwood (Chilean) the editorial writings circulating in magazines and supplements in the mid 20th century, in the 60¿s, 70¿s & 80¿s. In all four writings it is possible to find several strategies, related with the cultural and political contexts, which use to disrupt the public/private dichotomy, thus deconstructing one of the columns of the sex¿gender system, in the Latin¿American culture.
