Este trabajo reconstruye a través de diferentes libros y ensayos el debate entre los filósofos franceses Jean-Luc Marión y Jacques Derrida a propósito de la naturaleza de la teología negativa y su posible vinculación con un nuevo pensamiento de lo transontológico. La polémica en torno a las lecturas distintas de Dionisio el Aeropagita conduce a ambos filósofos a elucidar descripciones distintas de la alabanza y de la oración como actos de habla en el sentido de J. L. Austin. Las relaciones entre lenguaje predicativo y ontología se convierten en un punto clave a la hora de abordar la cuestión que vuelve afines a Marión y Derrida, la posibilidad de un Dios sin el ser (God without Being).
This paper, using different books and essays, reconstructs the debate between the French philosophers Jean-Luc Marión and Jacques Derrida concerning the nature of negatíve theology and its possible Hnk with new transontological thought. The controversy surrounding the different readings of Dionysius the Aeropagite leads both philosophers to elucídate different descriptíons of praise and prayer as speech acts in the terms of J. L. Austin. The relationships between predicative language and ontology become a key point in approaching the question which unites Marión and Derrida; the possibility of a God without Being.
