En el artículo se realiza un análisis, una interpretación y una reordenación de la poética de Jorge Teillier, focalizando el interés en la reelaboración del mito del paraíso perdido presen-te en sus creaciones líricas, tomando como fuente de información la totalidad de los poemarios publicados del autor. El trabajo demuestra que lejos de las miradas tradicionales sobre la poesía de Teillier, concentradas en la poesía de los lares, la búsqueda del paraíso perdido es la piedra angular de la obra de Jorge Teillier.
The author of this article proposes an analysis, an interpretation, and a reordering of Jorge Teillier’s poetics, focusing on the interest in the re-elaboration of the myth of the lost paradise present in his lyrical creations, our source of information being the totality of the author’s published works. The analysis intends to show that far from the traditional views on Teillier’s art centered on the poems of his homeland, the search for a lost paradise represents the keystone of his poetical work.
