Several texts in the Basque language belonging to the first quarter of the nineteenth century are published here. They were found in Narbarte and Oieregi, villages situated in the High-Navarrese valley called Bertitzarana.
We offer a brief introduction, in which we describe the documents, give a short account of their contents and express ur opinion with reference to their possible authors, places and dates of composition.
Doing so, we aim at a wider and better knowledge, both historical and geographical, of the Basque language.
